Darvin "Papa" Byrd Inducted Into Country Gospel Music
Hall of Fame" This year was
very special to Papa Byrd as friends and family gathered together to share a special day with The Byrd Family.
This year there was a big surprise for Papa Byrd. Jesse Stone, pictured above on left, read the official induction and
then Pastor Mary Byrd, right of Jesse Stone, presented the Hall of Fame award to Papa Byrd, far right. Pastor Randy
and the entire congregation gave Papa Byrd a standing ovation as he was presented the award. Papa Byrd was the 14th
member of the Country Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Dolly Parton was number 13. Pastor Mary was shedding tears
of joy as she presented him the award.

Pastor Randy and Papa Byrd Papa Byrd is holding the award he had
just been presented for being inducted into the Country Gospel Music Hall Of Fame. This was one time even Papa Byrd
was almost speechless. You could tell he was filled with joy.

Sarah Byrd From playing bass
guitar, sharing harmony on The Byrd Family songs, and of course, her solo vocal ministry, Sarah was very active in the Anniversary
Celebration of The Byrd Family Homecoming. Sarah continues to expand her ministry outreach. From sharing
her healing testimony to her wide range of gospel music along with her speaking engagements, Sarah is excited about what
God is doing.

J. Stephen Conn He has been called pastor, evangelist, author, outdoorsman, and preacher
of the gospel. All those titles would fit J. Stephen Conn because he has pioneered churches, had his books published
and is building his dream mountain home in the hills of Tennessee. We were honored to have J. Stephen Conn as our guest
speaker for the 53rd Anniversary Celebration of The Byrd Family. We have traveled over the nation singing as Stephen
would share anointed word ministry in The Byrd Family services. From the Okefenokee Swamp in south Georgia to the Eastern
Shore of Maryland, to the hills of Pennsylvania to the sunshine state of Florida, The Byrd Family and Brother Conn took the
gospel in word and song. Of all the titles he carries, we like the title "Friend" best of all when we refer
to one of America's great speakers and authors, J. Stephen Conn.
